What is Cleaning for a Reason?
The mission is to give the gift of free house cleaning to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. The goal is to let these brave and strong women focus on their health and treatment while we focus on, and take away the worry and work of, cleaning their homes– free of charge.
We are among the over 1,200 maid services that donate free housecleaning to women who are undergoing treatment for cancer.
Since the founding in 2006, Cleaning for a Reason and its partners have provided free home cleaning for more than 47,165 cancer patients and their families across all 50 states and Canada. These services are valued at more than $15.9 million.

How Do I Get Involved?
Nominate
If you know someone who is undergoing cancer treatment in the Gwinnett County area. Nominate them to have their house cleaned for free.

How Do I Nominate Someone Or Apply For A Free Cleaning?
We want to serve as many patients that we can. Client must live in the Gwinnett County area and be recovering from cancer surgery, in cancer treatment, or in hospice care. Nominee must agree to have house cleaned by a Cleaning for Life professional.
What Does The Complimentary Cleaning Include?
It is our Regular Maintenance Cleaning. It includes kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms. All rooms will be dusted and cleaned including furniture, and floors.
(includes 2 general cleanings of up to 4 hours each)
